Hauff-Technik acquires Kettler GmbH
Hermaringen, January 8, 2025 – With economic effect from 1 January 2025, Hauff-Technik acquired all shares in Kettler GmbH, based in Dorsten
The medium-sized manufacturer of components and installation fittings for pipeline construction generates an annual turnover of around EUR 9 million with around 60 employees. The product portfolio includes tapping and heavy-duty fittings as well as actuating spanners for operating fittings and hydrants, both above and below ground and in manholes. Its product programme is rounded off with wall ducts and house entries.
With the acquisition of Kettler GmbH, Hauff-Technik also takes over Kettler Utility Communications GmbH: Kettler Utility offers services for all aspects of underground pipework construction, in particular the rehabilitation of defective fittings. This involves restoring the fittings to an operational condition by minimising the intervention directly through the road cap.
With this company acquisition, Hauff-Technik is expanding and strengthening its own product portfolio and, in addition to the last mile in the communications sector, can now also drive this forward in the water and gas supply sector. Dr Michael Seibold, Managing Director of Hauff-Technik, and Michael Buhla, previous owner of Kettler, agree that with the transfer to the Hauff-Technik Group, the company fits very well into the group as a highly profitable provider, as it not only offers long-term prospects for both companies, but also creates synergy effects, particularly in sales, through joint market development.
