Leaning back and enjoying a relaxing bath couldn't be more soothing, especially in winter. However, if instead of using a bath you're attempting it in the basement of a building with commercial expanding foam instead of bath foam, there's something wrong.
So unless you're planning on repurposing your basement as a swimming pool, you should insist on the right seal from the word go.
A better approach:
Leave the bath foam where it belongs and insist on the right press seal for cables that provides you with every possible opportunity for reliable sealing of core drills or wall sleeves for one or more cables. You can also use our cable entry HSI, which you can combine with various system covers.
